The GOP is on the verge of losing an almost guaranteed seat in NY’s 23rd Congressional District. Somehow the geniuses in the GOP decided to run a Liberal Republican,Scozzafava, for the open seat, and the true Republicans of the district don’t want any part of her. A conservative candidate, Hoffman, is taking votes from the RINO Scozzafava. I guess they didn’t see this coming. I guess having McCain lose to Obama wasn’t enough. I guess the Tea Parties, and town hall meetings didn’t get the message across. I guess the lack of enthusiasm of people donating to the GOP isn’t enough. The country is looking at this election as a statement of support or rejection for Obama. What kind of statement is the GOP making? If the GOP loses this seat, the Democrats will claim a victory for Obama and their liberal policies. I do not see it this way. If the GOP loses this seat, I see it as another example of the GOP not listening and incompetence. I see it as a victory for Conservatism. I for one will not be donating anymore more money to the GOP until they start running true Republican candidates. I’ll leave the destruction of the United States to the Democrats, and will not have any part of it. Their call for a big tent is nonsense. Look what it has gotten us. We need politicians that are more worried about the future of this country than winning their next election. Tell the GOP no more.
